The Black Canadian AI Society (BCAIS) is proud to announce its inaugural flagship event, the Joint Black AI Summit (JBAIS), to be held in February 2027 in Toronto, in recognition of Black History Month.

JBAIS will serve as a landmark convening of Black leaders, researchers, innovators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders. As the first flagship summit of BCAIS, the event marks a major step toward building a nationally rooted and globally connected ecosystem for Black excellence in AI.
